ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota State Lottery says that a winning Powerball ticket worth $180.1 million was sold in Rice County.
That’s the largest Powerball jackpot ever won in the state of Minnesota.
The winning ticket holder has the option of annuity payments for the entire amount of the prize, or the cash option of $88 million - which would amount to $59.6 million after tax withholding.
